Abstract
Concepts of nutrition, natural remedies, physical activity and psychosocial considerations gain importance in times of illness. Patients wish to contribute to their healing process in addition to the physician’s efforts. Results of conventional, allopathic therapies may well be further reasons for using complementary means and methods. Proof of effectiveness is still insufficient on a larger scale for applications of complementary oncology.
