Entwicklung der Psychotherapie und der Psychotherapieausbildung in europäischen Ländern

Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen des Forschungsgutachtens zur Ausbildung von Psychologischen PsychotherapeutInnen und Kinder- und JugendlichenpsychotherapeutInnen wurde eine Befragung von Experten aus 23 europäischen Ländern durchgeführt, um eine vergleichende Darstellung der Situation von Psychotherapie in Europa erstellen zu können. Die Befragung richtete sich u. a. auf die bestehenden gesetzlichen Regelungen, die Berufe, die zur Ausbildung zugelassen werden, die Stellung der Psychotherapie im Gesundheitswesen, Zulassungsvoraussetzungen, anerkannte Psychotherapieverfahren, Merkmale der Ausbildung und die Rechte psychologischer Psychotherapeuten. Die Ergebnisse der Befragung werden dargestellt und vor dem Hintergrund möglicher politischer Entwicklungen in Europa diskutiert.

Abstract

Within the framework of the German research expertise concerning the training of psychological psychotherapists and child and adolescent psychotherapists, a survey of experts from 23 European countries was carried out aiming at a comparative description of the situation of psychotherapy in Europe. The survey, among other issues, dealt with the current legal regulations, the professions admitted to psychotherapy training, the position of psychotherapy within the health systems, the characteristics of training and the rights of psychologists practising psychotherapy. The results of the survey are described and discussed with regard to potential political developments within Europe.
