Summary
Spiculopteragia suppereri sp. nov. is described as a new gastrointestinal trichostrongylid from a Père David's deer,Elaphurus davidianus, and a fallow deer,Dama dama. S. suppereri lies near toS. böhmi andS. asymmetrica. According to the characteristic form of the spicules, the telamon and the Bursa copulatrixS. suppereri is clearly separable from these 2 species as well as from the other representatives of the Tribi Spiculopteragiini and Ostertagiini.
