Zusammenfassung

Das Erleben und Erfahren von jeglicher Gewalt in der Kindheit bedeutet zumeist eine nachhaltige psychische Beeinträchtigung, die auch das spätere Erwachsenenleben beeinflusst und in die nächste Generation weitergegeben werden kann. Eng verbunden mit Gewalterfahrung ist der Begriff einer Traumatisierung als daraus resultierende »seelische Verletzung«, zu der es bei einer Überforderung der psychischen Schutzmechanismen durch ein massiv belastendes Erlebnis kommen kann, wie u. a. beim Erleben und Erfahren von jeglicher Gewalt.
