Zusammenfassung
Angeborene und erworbene Erkrankungen des Gehirns, des Rückenmarks, der Nerven und Muskeln verursachen Veränderungen der Bewegungsfunktion und der Form der Bewegungsorgane. Diese Funktions- und Formveränderungen folgen Gesetzmäßigkeiten, die für eine erfolgreiche Vorbeugung und Behandlung berücksichtigt werden müssen. Funktionsstörungen sind abhängig vom Ausmaß und der Lokalisation der primären neuromotorischen Schädigung und Kompensation, während Formveränderungen neben Funktion und Gebrauch von Alter und Entwicklung des Bewegungssystems abhängen. Im vorliegenden Kapitel wird versucht, diese Gesetzmäßigkeiten der Entwicklung von Deformitäten bei verschiedenen neuromotorischen Grunderkrankungen aufzuzeigen und die Dynamik neuroorthopädischer Krankheitsbilder zu erklären, um Möglichkeiten der Prävention und Behandlung rechtzeitig erkennen zu können.
