Zusammenfassung

Eine Infertilität liegt definitionsgemäß vor, wenn bei einem Paar trotz regelmäßigem, ungeschütztem Geschlechtsverkehr innerhalb eines Jahres keine Schwangerschaft eingetreten ist (Rowe et al. 2000). Hierbei wird zwischen primärer und sekundärer Infertilität unterschieden, je nachdem, ob früher bereits einmal eine Schwangerschaft induziert wurde (bezogen auf das Paar oder den einzelnen Partner).
