Der Bereich der pädiatrischen Palliativmedizin als interdisziplinäres Konzept mit ganzheitlichen Ansätzen hat sich in den letzten Jahren auch in Österreich zunehmend etabliert. Durch moderne Therapien und Betreuungskonzepte hat sich die Lebenserwartung dieser PatientInnen deutlich verlängert. Dadurch sind u. U. auch im palliativmedizinischen Setting lange Betreuungszeiten (Monate, Jahre) zu erwarten. …
