Hämatospermie: viel Unruhe, wenig Gefahr

Zusammenfassung

Die Hämatospermie ist fast immer ein gutartiges Symptom. Es gibt zahlreiche Ursachen für die Hämatospermie: Die häufigste ist die Prostatabiopsie, gefolgt von den infektiösen Pathologien der urogenitalen Organe. Bei Patienten, welche ansonsten asymptomatisch sind, besteht die Basisuntersuchung aus einer gezielten Anamnese, körperlichen Untersuchung sowie einer Urinanalyse. Weitere Abklärungen sind nur dann indiziert, wenn diese ersten Untersuchungen auf Anomalien hindeuten, die Hämatospermie bei Männern älter als 40 Jahre auftritt oder wenn diese länger als 1 Monat fortbesteht oder rezidiviert. Männer mit Hämatospermie und Symptomen einer Urethritis sollten auf Gonorrhö und Chlamydiose getestet werden. In den meisten Fällen lässt sich trotzt Abklärung keine eindeutige Ursache für eine Hämatospermie feststellen. Deswegen gibt es für die meisten Patienten keine spezifische Behandlung, das Symptom verschwindet in der Regel spontan. Wenn keine (schwerwiegende) Ursache festgestellt werden kann, besteht die wichtigste therapeutische Massnahme aus der Beruhigung des meistens beunruhigten Patienten.
