Zusammenfassung

Relevante Fortschritte konnten in Hinblick auf Verständnis und Diagnose der Adenomyose im letzten Jahrzehnt erzielt werden. Der folgende Artikel stellt einen Überblick über Erkenntnisse in Pathogenese, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen der Bildgebung sowie konservative und chirurgische Behandlungsmöglichkeiten der Adenomyose vor.
