Fertilitätsaspekte der Hormonbehandlung von Jugendlichen mit Genderinkongruenz oder Genderdysphorie

Zusammenfassung

Der Kinderwunsch ist sowohl für Cis- als auch für Trans-Jugendliche ein positiv besetztes Thema. Fertilitätsfragen sind zu einem bestimmenden Thema in der Beratung und Betreuung von Transgender-Personen geworden. Die fertilitätserhaltenden Optionen liegen zwar auf der Hand, aber die Realisierung steht oft im krassen Widerspruch zum Prozess der „transition“. Transgender-Jugendliche sehen sich mit Entscheidungen konfrontiert, die kaum jemand in diesem Alter zu treffen vermag: Ohne aktuellen Kinderwunsch und zumeist noch ohne Partner soll die „transition“ verzögert oder aufgeschoben, und/oder es invasiven Eingriffen zur Gewinnung von reproduktivem Gewebe zugestimmt werden.
Die verschiedenen Fertilitätsoptionen für Trans*Jugendliche werden im Kontext dargestellt und kritisch bewertet.
