Prof. Dr. Vladyslav Povoroznyuk, PhD, Professor for Internal Medicine, rheumatologist at Kiev Medical University, head of the Institute of Gerontology, President of the Ukrainian Association of Osteoporosis (Fig. 1), sadly passed away on 12 June 2021 after a lengthy period of illness.
