Eizellspende heute – Eizellspende morgen

Zusammenfassung

Im Jahr 1983 wurde das erste Kind, das aus einer Eizellspende entstanden ist, geboren. Mittlerweile sind bereits 18 % aller In vitro Fertilisations(IVF)-Zyklen in den USA Eizellspendenzyklen. In Österreich ist die Eizellspende seit 2015 zugelassen. Die Frischspende wird weltweit immer mehr zugunsten von kryokonservierten Oozyten aus Eizellbanken verlassen. Über die psychologischen Langzeitfolgen ist noch zu wenig bekannt, hier sollten Studien durchgeführt werden.
