Descensus urogenitalis: aktuelle Evidenz zur operativen Therapie

Zusammenfassung

Der Descensus urogenitalis ist ein häufiges Krankheitsbild und aufgrund der steigenden Lebenserwartung von zunehmender Bedeutung. Das Lebenszeitrisiko für eine operative Therapie beträgt in industrialisierten Ländern 6–18 %. Da sowohl der urogenitale Deszensus als auch die operative Therapie einen Einfluss auf Blasen‑, Darm- und Sexualfunktion haben, ist eine gründliche Evaluierung der Symptome bzw. Symptomveränderung erforderlich. Um die Patientin adäquat aufklären zu können und unnötige Reoperationen zu vermeiden, muss der Operateur Versagerquoten und mögliche Komplikationen spezifischer operativer Eingriffe kennen. Die Wahl des Eingriffs ist abseits der vorliegenden Evidenz immer von der individuellen Situation der Patientin und der Expertise des Operateurs abhängig. Dieser Artikel gibt die rezente Evidenz zur Prolapschirurgie wieder, die in der aktuellen Ausgabe der International Consultation of Incontinence 2017 publiziert wurde.
