Diverse neurologische Erkrankungen mit dem Leitsymptom Muskelschwäche werden auf einer Intensiveinheit (ICU) behandelt. Patient*innen mit multipler Sklerose, Guillain-Barré-Syndrom, amyotropher Lateralsklerose, Myasthenia gravis oder einer Myositis machen jedoch weniger als 1 % der Einweisungsdiagnosen auf einer ICU aus. Wesentlich häufiger tritt eine Muskelschwäche im Rahmen des Intensivaufenthalts auf. …
