Erster Anfall – akut symptomatisch oder im Rahmen eines Epilepsiesyndroms?

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl Drogenentzug, als auch Intoxikationen stellen eine häufige Ursache für akut symptomatische Anfälle dar. Die Pathomechanismen beruhen sowohl auf direkten, durch die Droge selbst bedingten, als auch auf indirekten Faktoren (Schädelhirntrauma, metabolische Störungen, intrazerebrale Blutungen oder Ischämien, zerebrale als auch systemische Infektionen). Bei jedem Patienten mit einem erstmaligen epileptischen Anfall muss daher eine umfassende Anamnese und Abklärung einschließlich MRI, Labor, EKG und EEG erfolgen.
