Zusammenfassung

Die Leitlinien zum diabetischen Fuss-Syndrom nehmen Bezug auf die entsprechenden präventiven, diagnostischen und therapeutischen Maßnahmen im Rahmen der umfassenden Betreuung des Diabetikers. Die diabetische Neuropathie und die periphere arterielle Verschlusserkrankung sind von grundlegender pathophysiologischer Bedeutung in der Entwicklung des diabetischen Fuss-Syndroms. Die motorische Neuropathie kann zu Deformitäten und Fehlbelastungen führen.
