Torische Kunstlinsen zur Astigmatismuskorrektur

Zusammenfassung

Torische Kunstlinsen erlauben die Korrektur eines Hornhautastigmatismus während der Kataraktoperation. Für moderate und hohe Astigmatismen ist die Verwendung von torischen Kunstlinsen evidenzbasiert. Sehr geringe Astigmatismen zu korrigieren ist schwieriger, da die Fehlerquellen im Bereich der präoperativen Messung teilweise zu groß sind. Für die Berechnung einer torischen Kunstlinse sollte die Hornhaut mit mindestens zwei verschiedenen Methoden vermessen werden, am besten auch die Rückfläche der Hornhaut. Falls es nach der Implantation zu einer Rotation kommt, so sollte die Kunstlinse nicht einfach auf die ursprünglich geplante Achse rotiert werden, sondern eine neue Berechnung durchgeführt werden.
