Endovenöse Ablation der Stammvenenvarikose

Zusammenfassung

Die endovenösen Behandlungsverfahren zur Therapie der Stammvenenvarikose sind in den letzten 15 Jahren weltweit akzeptiert worden. Die Effektivität der verschiedenen endovenösen Methoden und die minimalen Nebenwirkungsraten sind inzwischen durch eine große Zahl von Evidenz basierten Publikationen belegt worden. Die endovenöse thermische Ablation (ETA) mit Radiofrequenz oder Laser wird deswegen 2013 in den neuen NICE Guidelines (UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) für die Behandlung der varikösen Venen als erste Wahl bei einer Stammvarikose empfohlen, gefolgt von der Ultraschall kontrollierten Schaumverödung und erst als dritte Wahl wird das klassische Stripping mit Crossektomie genannt.
