Effektivität und Evidenz von Gruppenpsychotherapie bei depressiven Störungen

Zusammenfassung

Grundlagen

Gruppenpsychotherapie gilt als eine wirksame psychotherapeutische Intervention bei depressiven Störungen. Trotzdem ist die Inanspruchnahme von Gruppenpsychotherapie insbesondere im ambulanten Bereich gering. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die Effektivität und Evidenz von Gruppenpsychotherapie bei depressiven Störungen zu überprüfen.

Methode

Es wurde eine systematische Literatursuche mittels elektronischer Datenbanken (PubMed, PsycInfo) durchgeführt. Eingeschlossen wurden Meta-Analysen ab dem Jahr 2000, die Psychotherapie bei depressiven Personen im Gruppensetting untersuchten.

Ergebnisse

Identifiziert wurden sieben Meta-Analysen (N = 140 Studien). Gruppentherapien zeigten im between group Vergleich gegen Wartegruppe Effekte von 0,21 (95 % CL: [− 0,46; 0,04]; I2 = 24,9 %) bis 1,026 (SD: 805, 95 % CI: [0,565–1,487]). Einzeltherapie war in einer Studie effektiver als Gruppentherapie (d = 0,18, Z = 1,82, p < 0,1; I2 = 0 bis 0,38 95 %CI: [0,09; 0,66]). In einer weiteren Studie zeigte sich kein Unterschied.). Diese Unterschiede waren im follow-up nicht mehr nachweisbar. Einzeltherapien zeigten in einer Arbeit eine deutlich geringere Abbruchrate (OR = 0,56, 95 %CI: [0,37; 0,86]; p < 0,01). Eine Studie zeigte Vorteile von kognitiv-verhaltentherapeutischer Gruppentherapie - KVGT gegen psychodynamische Gruppentherapie – PDGT (d = 0,2995; 95 % CI: [0,001; 0,589]).
