Gender Obesity Report – Einfluss von Adipositas auf Reproduktion und Schwangerschaft

Zusammenfassung

Die Adipositas hat bei Männern und Frauen in jedem Lebensalter Einfluss auf die reproduktive Funktion. Durch zunehmende Prävalenz der Adipositas steigen die Zahlen für reproduktive Funktionsstörungen. Adipositas führt bei Frauen häufiger zu Zyklusunregelmäßigkeiten, Ovulationsschwierigkeiten und Schwangerschaftskomplikationen und bei Männern zu schlechteren Spermienparameter. Lebensstilfaktoren sind für die Adipositas als auch für die reproduktive Funktion essentielle, modifizierbare Faktoren zur Verbesserung hormoneller Parameter und der Fertilität bei Frauen und Männern.
