NOAK bei Herzinsuffizienz

Zusammenfassung

Nach den vorliegenden Studiendaten sind die neuen oralen Antikoagulanzien (NOAK) mindestens so sicher und effektiv wie Vitamin-K-Antagonisten und besitzen zusätzlich eine Reihe praktischer Vorteile wie eine fixe Dosierung, den Wegfall routinemäßiger Gerinnungskontrollen sowie deutlich weniger Interaktionen mit Medikamenten und Nahrungsmitteln. Subanalysen der großen Schlaganfallpräventionsstudien belegen die Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit der NOAK im Vergleich zur Standardtherapie in der Patientengruppe mit bestehender Herzinsuffizienz. Bei Beachtung allfälliger Kontraindikationen können NOAK als wirksame und sichere Alternative zu den Vitamin-K-Antagonisten bei Patienten mit Vorhofflimmern und Herzinsuffizienz angesehen werden.
